PeaceHealth is Hiring a Telecommunications Analyst (Hybrid) Near Springfield, OR

Description

PeaceHealth is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst (Hybrid) for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $30.22 – $45.32. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.

Provides analytical expertise in support of the telecommunications network and devices. Responsible for monitoring the system, ensuring optimal operating conditions, maintaining and providing input on updates, system and device upgrades.

Position Details

  • Monitors system to ensure optimal operation, trouble shoot problems as they arise and work with vendors and/or other staff as appropriate to resolve issues.
  • Provides maintenance and repair of telephone system equipment, utilizing appropriate resources to test functional capabilities.
  • Maintains adequate inventories of spare parts and supplies so that repair and/or installation work may be accomplished without delay or loss of services.
  • Maintains system documentation in an up-to-date and orderly manner (includes departmental layouts, cable books, hard copy and tape backups of system software, troubleshoot/repair logs, records of adds and changes, spare parts inventory, etc.).
  • Works with managers, supervisors and other staff as necessary to obtain information regarding installations, resolve problems and/or update system/equipment.
  • Works directly with equipment vendors through the purchase requisition process to obtain spare/replacement parts, supplies and information.
  • Works directly with telephone company personnel to report/resolve telephone company problems.
  • Performs necessary installation work for changes, additions or deletions as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • High School Diploma Preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years working with telephone communications systems required.

  • Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Environmental Conditions

  • Predominantly operates in an office environment.

Mental/Visual

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
